Fireworks can be fun, but they also pose serious risks if not handled properly. ✅ Top Safety Tips Only buy fireworks from licensed sellers – illegal fireworks are dangerous and unpredictable.Follow the instructions on each firework carefully.Keep a safe distance – spectators should stand well back.Never go back to a lit firework – even if it hasn’t gone off.Keep pets indoors – fireworks can cause distress to animals.Dispose of used fireworks safely – soak them in water before binning.🚫 What NOT to Do Don’t light fireworks in public places like parks or streets – it’s illegal and unsafe.Don’t give sparklers to children under 5.Don’t drink alcohol if you’re lighting fireworks.📍 Local Guidelines Fireworks must not be set off between 11pm and 7am, except on Bonfire Night (until midnight) and New Year’s Eve (until 1am).Be considerate of neighbours, especially the elderly, young children, and those with sensory sensitivities.📞 In Case of Emergency Call 999 for fire, injury, or serious incidents.Report illegal firework sales or unsafe use to Haringey Council or Crimestoppers anonymously.Let’s keep Seven Sisters safe and festive for everyone.
