Top Safety Tips Only buy fireworks from licensed sellers β illegal fireworks are dangerous and unpredictable.Follow the instructions on each firework carefully.Keep a safe distance β spectators should stand well back.Never go back to a lit firework β even if it hasnβt gone off.Keep pets indoors β fireworks can cause distress to animals.Dispose of used fireworks safely β soak them in water before binning.π« What NOT to Do Donβt light fireworks in public places like parks or streets β itβs illegal and unsafe.Donβt give sparklers to children under 5.Donβt drink alcohol if youβre lighting fireworks.π Local Guidelines Fireworks must not be set off between 11pm and 7am, except on Bonfire Night (until midnight) and New Yearβs Eve (until 1am).Be considerate of neighbours, especially the elderly, young children, and those with sensory sensitivities.π In Case of Emergency Call 999 for fire, injury, or serious incidents.Report illegal firework sales or unsafe use to Haringey Council or Crimestoppers anonymously.Letβs keep Seven Sisters safe and festive for everyone.
